Moderate enhancement of the size and shape of the breasts can be achieved by non-surgical methods by means of fillers. Macrolane™ is a pure, non-animal based gel containing hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring material in the human body.
Macrolane™ is injected into the breast under local anaesthesia and the procedure takes less than an hour with minimal downtime. It can hence be done as an office procedure. Macrolane™ can last up to 12 months. The body slowly metabolizes this biocompatible gel. Should one desire longer lasting results, one has the option of repeat treatments to maintain the aesthetic results.
